Where to Get Help With Rent and Housing in Los Angeles

If you have an eviction notice, call Stay Housed LA first. For other housing legal problems, call LAFLA. If neither fits, dial 2-1-1 at any hour.

  • Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, 800-399-4529. Call Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. You can also apply online or visit an office.

    They help people with a low income. Call and ask anyway, because some people above the limit still qualify. Their self help centres take anyone.
