It serves 42 parishes across south, central, and north Louisiana. Call 1-866-ASK-ALSC for free. Lines are open Monday to Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Thursday, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. You can also apply online any time.

The Louisiana Attorney General's office enforces the Louisiana Equal Housing Opportunity Act. The law bans discrimination (unfair treatment because of who you are) in housing. If this happens to you, report it through the office's Online Fair Housing Complaint Form. Staff review each complaint. If they find a possible violation, they help you file an official housing discrimination complaint.
