Kentucky
Kentucky Housing Corporation connects renters with rental assistance (money to help pay rent) programs across Kentucky. Its Kentucky ERA2 Partnership Program gives money to local nonprofits to help renters pay past-due rent and prevent eviction. HUD (the U.S. housing department) says a HUD approved housing counselor can give you advice to help you stop an eviction. North Carolina's HUD approved counselor is NCHC Housing Counseling Network.
